Description
This view looking North from the town of Totnes this ever changing view always captures my heart. The long shadows as the sun sets in the West, the dance of trees and hedgerows. Drawn with pastels onto paper on which I had created a ground with natural pigments mixed with gesso. The surface gave a unpredictable key on the paper adding texture and rhythm. Mixed media on acid free 200gm paper.
