About the artist

Tony Williams

Merseyside, United Kingdom

Originally, I trained as, practiced and taught graphic design, in 2017 I turned to printmaking as a main practice. I concentrated on linocut initially, predominantly making reduction prints. Recently, I returned to college for an adult learning printmaking course and was introduced to TetraPak®, drypoint, aquatint and other intaglio processes. This has expanded my outlook to new possibilities and approaches.
