SALE Price reduced from £425
Serendipity is an original hand-painted mixed media piece that captures the joy and emotion you can feel when outdoors in nature. Layered with different textures, this artwork reflects those moments of calm we can all find. There is a strong graphic design element to this piece, with the use of typography and collage, which is reflective of my years in graphic design.
Made with attention to detail using acrylic inks, acrylics paints, collage, textured paste, photo transfer and gold foiling. Painted on a box canvas.
This piece was part of an exhibition in Sheffield and Halifax earlier this year and last.
It comes ready to hang. Includes a certificate of authenticity and is signed and dated on the back.

About the artist
Fiona Grimshaw Art
West Yorkshire, United KingdomFiona Grimshaw Art
West Yorkshire, United KingdomFiona Grimshaw is a contemporary British artist based in Yorkshire, known for atmospheric, textured landscapes and seascapes that explore the ever-changing relationship between light, colour, texture and the natural world.
Working predominantly in acrylic and mixed media, Fiona creates expressive, semi-abstract paintings inspired by the coast and countryside. Rich layers of paint, textured mediums and expressive mark-making give her work a tactile quality, with each painting evolving through a process of building, scraping, layering and revealing.
There is a quiet sense of escapism within Fiona’s work. From expansive skies and restless seas to still, atmospheric landscapes, her paintings invite the viewer to pause and experience a moment of calm, connection and reflection.
Fiona’s original paintings have been exhibited at art fairs, exhibitions and curated events, with her work finding its way into private collections. She also produces fine art prints, allowing her distinctive landscapes to be enjoyed in more accessible formats.
