Description
The narrative in my work is an essential part for me. I enjoy the unexpected, little things that are curious not always spotted first time around. These elements create questions for the observant, why birds, why those birds.
Everything you see has been carefully thought through, all the tiny decisions made to create this intriging painting. Paramount to my painting style is the feeling of richness, sumptuous colour, lots of details, a feeling that you could be there too, taking a secret glimpse into another world, another language.
My style is heavily influenced by the master painters of the Dutch Golden age. Their attention to detail concerning nature is second to none and truly transports me to another time.

- All work is either shipped in heavy duty card with support packaging and plenty of bubblewrap or for international shipping in a plywood crate with support packaging.

- If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 1 day of receipt with photos and a description of the damage.
- Refunds will be processed directly to your bank account. This is dependent upon you providing your bank details in a timely manner.

- Custom or commissioned artworks cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.

I’ve become more interested recently in a still life aspect to my work, looking at old toys and discarded objects and it’s the stories about the past, that I can almost see- just out of reach and stories are the main diet of my imagination.
