Free machine embroidered surface including layered fabrics, the composition is inspired by a walk in my local countryside.
The main embroidery is set against a separate fabric covered inner mount and the whole is framed in an unglazed white wood frame.

I trained at Bolton Art College Foundation Course 1971-2, Loughborough College of Art and Design Degree in Stitched Textiles 1975, PGCE Art and Design at Leicester 1976, Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen since 1996 and awarded a Fellowship in 2013.
