I’m a Yorkshire-based mixed media artist specialising in embroidery and textiles, working from my home studio by the sea in Scarborough.

My practice is rooted in storytelling. Through paper-based works, textile sculptures and mixed media objects, I explore memories of place and moments in time. My inspiration comes from the places I’ve visited, from the nostalgia of seafront gift shops in Scarborough and the rugged beaches of the Yorkshire Coast, to industrial Northern cities.

My work has been exhibited in museums and heritage venues across the North, including Whitby Museum, Sunny Bank Mills, and the Thackray Museum of Medicine.
